MONTE SERENO, Santa Clara County — October 25, 2026. Residents of Monte Sereno can participate in City Council meetings in person or through a Zoom webinar, according to the municipality’s official public-meetings guide. The City Council’s normal schedule is the first and third Tuesday each month at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at 18041 Saratoga–Los Gatos Road, Monte Sereno, CA 95030.
What records are available now?
Monte Sereno’s meeting records portal lists Council meetings on October 6 and October 20, 2026, and previous 2026 sessions. Residents can select a dated entry to locate associated agenda packets and meeting materials. For a disputed action, compare any staff report or proposed resolution with the final meeting record; a listed agenda item alone is not confirmation it passed.
Which local commissions should residents follow?
Separate archives appear for the Site and Architectural Commission, the Youth Commission and other community bodies. The architectural commission’s records include an October 7 meeting, while the Youth Commission has an October 13 entry. These groups address different matters and their recommendations are not automatically City Council policy.
How to participate
The city’s participation guide says hybrid meetings permit comments from people in the Council Chambers and through the webinar instructions provided on the current agenda. Residents should not reuse an older meeting link or assume that a particular submission deadline applies to every session. The City Clerk can provide copies of agendas and meeting documents by email at Cityclerk@cityofmontesereno.org.
Monte Sereno also publishes Council rules, ethics policies and its fiscal 2026–2027 strategic goals on the City Council page. Readers seeking to track the city’s priorities can use these public documents, then verify how individual proposals are discussed and adopted.
Monte Sereno News welcomes documented local observations and official records from residents.
